Johnny retired from Camping World in 2017 after a successful IPO. He founded Encourage, LLC in 2017 which is a private equity firm with many holdings.

James Gilbert is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a track record of launching and selling digital businesses. He sold Living Social Australia & NZ, the leader in the local group-buying sector, with 280 employees and annual revenues of $110MM. He also co-founded a company in the crypto currency sector that is currently trading in the public markets.
Shawn co-founded mophie, the number one selling battery case manufacturer for mobile devices in North America. As COO and founder, she helped mophie create the first juice pack battery case for the first-generation iPhone in North America and built an exclusive partnership with Apple. mophie raised millions of dollars in multiple rounds of capital and debt facilities. Under Shawn's guidance and strategic vision, the company grew from three employees in a barn in Michigan to a multimillion-dollar business with 300+ employees in five facilities in California, Michigan, China, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam.
Laurent is a business leader with over 20 years of experience managing sales and consulting teams focused on helping corporations, governments and institutions drive growth, mitigate risk, and optimize business efficiencies. Taking his skills and experiences and combining them with my passion for entrepreneurship (especially online businesses) and investing has led him to his current ventures. Laurent is also the founder of MadX Capital. MadX is a buy-side business broker specializing in online businesses. Laurent can simplify the process of acquiring, growing, automating, and selling online assets.
Jordan is a finance and business leader with diverse background in global business accumulated throughout a career in public accounting and in private industry. He has served a wide range of business clients in several different industries as a CPA and financial statement auditor for Plante Moran. In the last 10 years since leaving public accounting, he became the Vice President of Finance for mophie, and was part of a team that scaled the Company to more than $200 million in revenue, expanded operations worldwide, and eventually sold the Company in 2016. Since leaving mophie in 2018, Jordan has held various CFO and financial consulting positions for start-up businesses – primarily but not limited to the consumer electronics and technology industries.
Dustin Grimes is a 4th Generation entrepreneur. He has started his first company at 19 years old. Dustin has grown his most recent business from concept to over $12,000,000 a year in revenue in under 3 years. He has also been invited to speak with members of congress and the senate as an expert in his field. He has a passion for helping his community, especially veterans, and first responders.
Beau has worked in retail & wholesale product distribution, private aviation sales, and business development. Beau currently focuses his efforts on Key Benefit Administrators... Additionally, as Founder and CEO of Sirpilla Related Ventures, he has partnered to create Log5, LLC which is the marketing, management and distribution arm for several start up tech and medical companies. Beau brings experience with eCommerce knowledge, branding capability, and is keen on relationship building. Beau graduated from High Point University in 2018, with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship.
Chris has founded several companies and has grown his own computer technology firm over the past two years with fostering three start-ups and likely a couple of more in the near future. One of these is Phoenix, which has closed seed funding as well as its first large global customer to spark adoption and growth. He was the founder of Mountain Ethos dives deep into the identity of a brand and any data it can get its hands on to revamp a brand, create a new one, and solve problems large and small. Chris has built 400 e-commerce businesses and a graduate of Startup Bus, a unique mobile hackathon.
Linquist’s professional experience and entrepreneurial background span nearly 20 years, focusing on high-growth tech startups, disruptive business models, strategic monetization, and data-driven solutions. He has provided leadership on integrated and strategic marketing campaigns, affiliate and JV development, and growth strategies for startups to large Fortune 500 companies. Zach’s operational expertise allows him to perform insightful due diligence on potential M&A opportunities as well as assist companies included in virtual mergers with strategic solutions and access to resources that will help them improve operations and increase profitability.
Mark co-founded Zachary Scott in 1991 where he has successfully advised on multiple virtual mergers. Prior to founding Zachary Scott, Mark managed Seafirst Bank's Investment Banking Department, where he was responsible for the Bank's activities in private placements, structured financings, interest rate risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. Mark advises middle market business owners and managers on a wide variety of strategy, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions issues and transactions. Mark received an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Washington and a B.S. degree from the University of California at Davis. He hosts an annual mentor group of University of Washington M.B.A. students.
David has years of M&A experience where he has primarily been responsible for supporting direct investing efforts, by identifying and evaluating opportunities, structuring and executing transactions, and managing portfolio investments. Previously, David worked for a private equity group headquartered in Raleigh, NC. that manages over $1.6 billion of assets under management through two platforms; as a member of the Private Equity team, David was involved in deal sourcing, opportunity evaluation, transaction execution, portfolio company management, and other general firm operations. David holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
